Description:

Concert Band is a course for intermediate instrumental musicians. Students will focus on technique, tone production, and theory. Fall events will focus on pep band music and buidling upon/improving marching-band skills. This ensemble performs in marching band, pep band, and in concert band events. Performances and participation are major portions of the grading criteria.

What is Concert Band?

Open to all instrumentalist who have had at least 2 years of band experience.

Who is in Concert Band?

Generally, freshmen and players with less experience.

What happens in Concert Band?

Pep band and concert music are emphasized. Marching technique and music memorization are key components.

Usually a small class.
